InternCoastal Carolina University is seeking a Student Assistant to support the Advancement & Alumni Engagement department. The role involves assisting with data entry, fundraising prospect research, and various administrative tasks while collaborating with team members and adapting to new systems.

Responsibilities
Accurately input and update data in various systems and databases
Ensure all data is correctly formatted and free from errors
Maintain data confidentiality and security
Conduct research on potential donors and funding opportunities
Compile and analyze data to support fundraising initiatives
Prepare detailed reports and summaries of research findings
Actively engage with team members to understand project requirements
Communicate questions and concerns clearly and professionally
Participate in team meetings, as needed, and contribute to discussions
Quickly learn and adapt to new software and data management systems (Blackbaud products)
Seek out training opportunities to improve skills and knowledge
Show willingness to take on new tasks and challenges as they arise
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Support special projects and events within the department
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Coastal Carolina University
Preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to learn and use new systems and software efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns with team members
Basic research and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
