They are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in the monthly close process and the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements, requiring strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Own and execute key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Ensure accurate preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Analyze variances between actuals and budget/forecast and explain key drivers

Support accounting for sports and media-related activities, including revenue recognition, production costs, rights, licensing, sponsorships, and royalties

Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes to support a growing organization

Assist with external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, Legal, and Production teams

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the close and reporting cycle

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

4–7 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
