Assistant Professor of Finance

The Assistant Professor of Finance will teach finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, engage in research and curriculum development, and participate in departmental and university initiatives.

Responsibilities

Teach three (3) classes per semester, with a mix of face to face, hybrid, and 100% online courses
Conduct scholarly work and engage in professional activities, consistent with the guidelines for faculty classification as Scholarly Academic
Engage in service activities as required
The Chair may assign other duties

Qualification

Doctorate in FinanceProfessional certificationTeaching experienceResearchPublishingCurriculum developmentCommittee involvement

Required

Doctorate from an AACSB accredited business school in Finance, or closely related field
ABD considered if degree is conferred by July 31, 2025

Preferred

Professional certification, such as Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Investment Management Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, etc
Prior teaching experience in an AACSB accredited institution
Relevant business experience
Record of research and publishing in academic journals
