Responsibilities
Identify, draft, edit, and submit grant and sponsorship applications
Manage grant and sponsorship databases
Prepare meeting materials including agendas, minutes, and financial reports
Foster and maintain relationships with partner agencies and grantmaking organizations
Oversee expenditure of organizational funds and maintain financial records
Prepare and submit grant reports
Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts
Collaborate with the Board to raise annual funds through events, campaigns, and networking
Participate in Family Justice Center Youth Program sessions
Assist with essential goods coordination, donation pickups/deliveries (must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field
Must be able to pass a background check
Two or more years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, business development, or related field
At least two years of experience in grant writing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting required), CRM/database management, and Windows operating systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly
Commitment to social justice and the mission of the Family Justice Center
