Responsibilities
Review and understand current firmware designs and implementations
Modify existing designs to correct or add functionality
Implement new firmware and DSP subsystems as defined
Collaborate with other firmware developers to implement, improve, and validate designs
Support field test activities by operating equipment and troubleshooting issues
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional and/or project experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Experience With The Following: Verilog/VHDL
Experience With The Following: MATLAB, C/C++
Experience With The Following: Laboratory test equipment – Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator
Experience With The Following: Linux
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Must be able to clearly articulate conclusions via technical reports and documents
Preferred
Active Secret (or higher) security clearance
Familiarity Or Experience With The Following: Digital Signal Processing
Familiarity Or Experience With The Following: Embedded software design
Familiarity Or Experience With The Following: Digital, analog, and radio frequency circuits
Familiarity Or Experience With The Following: Revision control (git, SVN)
Familiarity Or Experience With The Following: Scripting languages
