Responsibilities
Oversee the creation, delivery, and management of static and animated educational content (e.g., spot illustrations, hero banners, icons, GIFs, etc)
Drive the identification of appropriate presentation formats and styles, and ensure content accuracy
Provide guidance from conception to completion, providing high-level feedback on narrative and format, and copy editing for creative briefs
Leverage, collaborate with, and help manage third-party content providers to deliver content as needed
Interpreting complex technical products and features, translating them into accessible visual metaphors and standardized abstract UI elements
Manage the full lifecycle of graphics projects, including prioritizing initial requests, brief development, asset reviews, and final asset delivery
Develop and manage project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring visual assets are ready for critical product launch dates
Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., creative, marketing, legal) and external partners (e.g., production companies, agencies, creators) to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Qualification
Required
2 years of experience in journalism, public relations, internal or executive communications, or a related field
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience in graphics production management, preferably within a fast-paced technology or media environment
Technical Interpretation: Proven ability to understand and interpret creative briefs for visual assets centered around complex technical products
Project Leadership: A track record of successfully managing high-volume design projects from inception to completion across multiple platforms (Help Center, Social, Blog)
Workflow Expertise: Strong understanding of all aspects of design production, including concepting, vectoring, and technical specs for digital placements
Preferred
Financial Oversight: Experience managing design agency budgets and external resource allocation
Interpersonal Excellence: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to navigate cross-functional stakeholder requirements
Operational Detail: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail regarding localization constraints and asset scalability
Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tracking tools
