Accounting Assistant
Turn2Partners is seeking a Client Account Assistant to provide foundational billing support to Client Account Managers and the broader department. This role involves accurate and timely client billing while coordinating between attorneys, clients, and internal business teams.
Responsibilities
Distribute, log, prepare, process, and mail client billing statements
Provide prompt, accurate assistance to attorneys, clients, business professionals, and the billing team to resolve billing inquiries and issues
Research and respond to questions regarding current and historical billing
Prepare and provide cost backup documentation as needed
File and organize prior month billing for electronic scanning
Review and summarize engagement letters related to special financial arrangements
Enter and maintain financial arrangements within the accounting system
Implement and maintain client and matter data within internal databases
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), iManage, and other firm applications following orientation
Strong Excel skills
Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Prior billing and/or accounting experience
Previous professional services or law firm experience
General knowledge of accounting principles
Experience with 3E and electronic billing platforms
10-key by touch proficiency
