Assistant Project Administrator/APA

Responsibilities
Administer contract activity with moderate to high risk to the corporation under the direction of a more-senior contracts professional
Perform non-routine contract activity that may require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution
Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
Coordinate closely with all parties involved
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
3 years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
Excellent writing and people skills
Strong math and organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office software
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Previous field or Sr Inspector experience is a plus
FDOT or Florida Turnpike experience highly desired
Ability to interpret construction schedules
