New Grad, Entry LevelFedTec is seeking a dedicated Loan Collections Officer to support early-stage loan collections and customer resolution efforts. This role focuses on proactive outreach, problem resolution, and customer engagement for accounts that are 1–2 months past due.

Responsibilities
Collect payments on early-stage delinquent accounts (1–2 months past due) through effective problem resolution
Contact borrowers to discuss account status and resolve delinquency issues
Make payment arrangements, take phone payments, and establish repayment plans
Offer and discuss Loss Mitigation options with borrowers
Handle inbound Loss Mitigation calls professionally and accurately
Ensure compliance with all applicable servicing guidelines and internal procedures
Accurately document collection activities and borrower interactions in the servicing system
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in collections or customer service
Strong working knowledge of FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and USDA default servicing guidelines
Experience using the MSP Servicing System
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
