Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, with attention to areas typical of an aerospace and defense location
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines
Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives, participating in drills and/or actual events as directed by site leadership
Qualification
Required
An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
CPR and first aid certification is preferred
