Dual Rate Spa & Salon Receptionist/Spa & Salon Shift Manager
Seneca Gaming Corporation is seeking a Spa & Salon Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and provide exceptional service in their Spa & Salon. The role involves managing front-line personnel, addressing customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the duties necessary for each position as their primary position’s duties
Answer incoming calls and book appointments accordingly, take detailed and accurate messages, transfer calls if appropriate, and take initiative to resolve problems or provide requested information
Listen and resolve complaints/problems from customers
Receive payment and record receipts for services
Maintain inventory of supplies and requisition items on a weekly basis or when needed
Keep a current record of staff member schedules and availability
Perform duties such as taking care of plants and straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area
Greet guests in a cordial and professional manner
Promote the sale of salon products and services
Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided
Assist the department managers as needed
Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times
Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment
Attend all necessary meetings
Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule
Implement standards and procedures to ensure the highest level of guest service
Manage Spa, Pool and Salon on assigned shift. Responsible for opening and closing, including cash drawer procedures
Research new and innovative ways of improving guest satisfaction and work applications
Direct investigation into causes of customer complaints and employee issues and responds accordingly in conjunction with Spa Manager
Enforce compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and health regulations
Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have at least one (1) year of Customer Service Supervisory / Leadership role
Must have Spa and/or Salon work experience
Must currently maintain position of a Receptionist, Massage Therapist, Esthetician, Nail Technician or Stylist
Experience with money handling and operating cash register
Must have knowledge of Spa Services, Treatments, and Products
Must have computer skills necessary and be able to operate SpaSoft system and spreadsheets
Must present a professional appearance and demeanor in dealing with the public
Must possess excellent communication skills to deal effectively with customers and employees
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
Possess proven leadership ability to provide general guidelines to subordinate personnel and direction toward short-term developmental goals
Must perform duties while utilizing discretion and respecting the privacy of guests
Must be able to work with spa products and equipment
Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel for long periods of time (95%)
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, resort environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
Preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative/clerical work experience preferred
