Responsibilities
Handle direct interaction with patients and their families during difficult times
Provide financial insurance and payment information to assist patients in planning and managing their account balances
Educate patients on various sponsorship programs available to them
Act as a liaison to the PBO/RBO and sponsoring hospital
Qualification
Required
3 years of experience in a Business Office, preferably in a financial/billing position
Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
Preferred
Coursework/Training: College coursework
Experience with medical specialty
