They are seeking a summer intern for their Development Team, where the intern will assist with property research, conduct analysis, participate in project meetings, and support senior leadership with development-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist with property and market research
Conduct “highest and best use” analysis to identify potential development opportunities within the RMR portfolio
Participate in meetings and calls with project teams, thereby gaining exposure to all aspects of the development life cycle, including project feasibility, financial analysis, architecture/design/urban planning, government permitting/approvals, capital sourcing, leasing and construction
Provide support to senior leadership with respect to development-related updates and presentation materials
Complete ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
Prepare and deliver end-of-summer presentation to the Development Team regarding a development-related issue
Gather and evaluate diligence materials for development projects
Provide reception desk coverage on a rotating basis
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated interest in real estate development
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
Currently a student at an accredited college or university
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite
Preferred
Experience with Yardi and ARGUS a plus
