Inside Sales Trainee - RISE Program

NEFCO is seeking individuals for their RISE Program, which is an entry-level rotational development program for those pursuing a career in Inside Sales. Participants will gain operational and commercial knowledge of the construction supply business through structured rotations and mentorship, culminating in an Inside Sales role.

Responsibilities

Learn the backbone of our business by working hands-on in receiving, order picking, inventory control, packing, and shipping
Engage directly with customers, process quotes and orders, recommend products, and build lasting relationships to drive revenue
Gain exposure to critical areas through short-term shadowing assignments: Delivery Operations – Understand customer expectations and jobsite delivery processes; Purchasing – Learn how we source and negotiate with vendors; Pricing Analysis – See how competitive pricing strategy is developed; Vendor Management Inventory – Ride along with associate to jobsites and replenishing inventory; Outside Sales – Ride along with account managers and visit construction sites

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Strong interest in sales and the distribution industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn from others
