Finance Manager

Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to support financial project planning, strategy, and decision-making
Provide actionable analysis of financial results, trends, and performance drivers
Lead and oversee accounts receivable, including billing, aging analysis, cash application, and collections
Monitor cash flow, manage cash forecasting, and ensure prudent working capital management
Prepare and review bank reconciliations and cash-related financial reporting
Manage general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
Prepare and deliver regular financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) to internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., bank reporting)
Coordinate use tax filings, escheatment processes, and documentation for audits or financial reviews
Work closely with Project Managers to monitor cost variances, billing, and contract compliance
Manage fixed assets and maintain job costing systems
Record accurate intercompany transactions and reporting across subsidiaries
Provide system administration support and ensure data integrity
Manage financial responsibilities related to payroll (in collaboration with HR/payroll team)
Calculate, track, and report commissions and bonuses
Identify process improvements and implement strong internal financial controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles
Demonstrated experience with financial analysis and reconciliations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems
Experience with multiple subsidiaries and intercompany transactions
Preferred
Industry experience in Construction, Consulting, Architecture, and/or Engineering a plus
Experience with Ajera and/or ComputerEase software a plus
