Senior LevelAcademian Inc. is seeking a qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Marketing to join their team on a 3–4-month contract. This role involves reviewing existing content, developing lesson plans, and creating assessments to ensure the materials align with Texas-specific academic expectations and broader learning objectives.

Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: Design and develop an engaging curriculum for Foundations for Marketing that meets educational standards and aligns with learning objectives
Lesson Plan Finalization: Collaborate with the instructional team to finalize lesson plans that effectively convey key concepts in Foundations for Marketing
Content Review and Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of existing content to identify gaps and areas for improvement
New Content Writing: Create new content to address missing elements or update outdated information, ensuring accuracy and relevance
Assessment Writing: Develop assessments that effectively evaluate student understanding and mastery of the material
Relevant Example Writing: Provide real-world examples and case studies to enhance the learning experience and facilitate comprehension
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise educational materials
Familiarity with assessment design and best practices in education
Excellent analytical skills for conducting content reviews and gap analysis
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred
Previous experience as a Subject Matter Expert or instructional designer in an academic or educational setting
Demonstrated experience working with Texas education standards, frameworks, or higher education institutions
Knowledge of current trends and advancements in marketing
