Responsibilities
Obtain real-world experience in exciting drinking water, wastewater, energy, sustainability, resiliency, and/or ecological restoration projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
Apply standard science and engineering techniques and procedures
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
Perform other duties as needed
Example Projects:
Habitat Restoration and Mitigation
Design concept development
Permitting and compliance support
Monitoring and reporting
Field surveys and bio-benchmarking assessments
Offshore Wind construction compliance support
Offshore Wind transmission planning
Endangered Species Act Permit compliance
Ecological and Water Quality Monitoring
Support Nanuet Laboratory projects, including field surveys, laboratory analysis, data analysis, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
Prefer 2 years completed toward a degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages
