Intern - Corporate Sustainability
Publix Pharmacy is committed to making a difference through its Summer Internship Program, designed to prepare young professionals for workplace opportunities. Interns will participate in impactful projects related to corporate sustainability, focusing on reducing environmental impact and supporting Zero Waste initiatives.

Responsibilities
Support efforts to achieve Zero Waste in one or more industrial facilities through analysis and off-taker research
Aggregate philanthropic work, including project details and environmental benefits, into a database for ease of tracking, metrics reporting, and historical reference
Qualification
Required
must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or
if graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or
if graduating from a master's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester)
must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field and be a current sophomore or above (rising junior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
ability to work with limited supervision
ability to work with confidential data
must possess valid driver's license
Preferred
advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
knowledge of SharePoint and/or Power BI
