Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, data and telecom areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and delivery drivers; direct foot traffic and coordinate visitor entry according to site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns; request additional support when needed
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key updates during shift handoff, and support badge, key, and/or visitor log controls as assigned
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
