Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close
Target small, mid-market, and enterprise customers with recurring shipping needs
Build and manage a high-value pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and networking
Lead consultative conversations around parcel, LTL, FTL, and specialty freight solutions
Position yourself as a strategic logistics advisor, not a transactional salesperson
Partner with operations and pricing teams to deliver customized solutions
Drive long-term account growth through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers and influencers
Leverage our clients proprietary technology platforms and data tools
Maintain disciplined CRM activity, forecasting, and pipeline management
Stay informed on market trends, carrier capacity, and pricing dynamics
Collaborate internally to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Required

5+ years of B2B sales experience (logistics, freight, transportation, or adjacent industries strongly preferred)
Demonstrated success closing new business and growing revenue
Experience selling complex or consultative solutions
Comfort operating independently with minimal oversight
Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills

Preferred

Selling parcel, LTL, FTL, 3PL, or managed transportation solutions
An existing book of business or transferable relationships
Experience in performance-based or commission-driven environments
Familiarity with TMS platforms and CRM tools
