2+ years expEpitec is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our automotive client's team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in driving Supplier Quality Rejects (QR) performance improvements.

Responsibilities
Lead critical supplier quality processes to improve Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance and ensure accurate QR/PPM data
Drive resolution of supplier‑related 3MIS and 0MIS warranty issues and support root‑cause identification for Prevent Action Closure (PAC)
Coordinate part quality confirmation for suppliers with repetitive containment failures and lead containment activities for special‑cause supplier issues
Collaborate with Powertrain Variability Reduction Teams (PRT) and STA site teams to manage BSAQ issues, glidepath alignment, and potential stop‑shipment risks
Monitor Daily Production Reports (DPR) and act as the liaison between suppliers, STA, and plant manufacturing leadership, supporting daily plant quality meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience managing powertrain suppliers with strong problem‑solving skills (8D, FMEA) and ability to travel to supplier locations
Working knowledge of engine and transmission systems, including common powertrain components and failure modes
Strong capability to support QR processes, dispute resolution, data accuracy, and supplier responsiveness
Excellent communication and coordination skills to interface with suppliers, STA teams, quality teams, and plant leadership
