Administrative Specialist II-CPHC
The NC Department of Adult Correction is one of the largest state agencies with more than 14,000 employees. They are seeking an Administrative Specialist II to provide administrative assistance and office management services for the Director of Nursing, including managing correspondence, record management, and office inquiries.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative assistance and office management services
Perform diversified administrative and secretarial functions for the Director of Nursing
Manage inquiries that come to this office when the Director of Nursing is not available
Process confidential and sensitive information
Independently compose and draft letters, memorandums, and reports for review and signature approval by the Director of Nursing
Attend all meetings
Establish appointments, make reservations and arrange transportation needs
Locate Management Staff in cases of emergencies or other situations that may arise
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of office practices, techniques and technology as documented in the job application to include Microsoft Office
Demonstrated skills in drafting correspondence (reports, letters, etc.) and maintaining records and database information
Demonstrated experience working with confidential and sensitive information
