Responsibilities
Independently applies extensive and diverse knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields, keeping informed of updates to standards, regulations, and best practices
Manage and mentor design team (e.g., EITs, entry level PEs, CAD Technicians) during the design, permitting, bidding, and construction phases, while planning, executing, and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet project stakeholder needs
Develops and reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
Manage and oversee the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects
Coordinate permitting efforts and approvals with applicable agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and local municipalities
Oversee construction phase tasks, including conducting site visits, reviewing submittals, and facilitating construction progress meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited program
Minimum of 10 years related work experience
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
