Responsibilities
Craft stories, write and edit press materials like pitches, bylines, and press releases
Work directly with clients to shape timely narratives that resonate with media
Mentor account executives on effective pitch writing
Secure press, media coverage, and guide clients through interviews
Qualification
Required
While we are fully remote, we are looking for applicants in the tri-state area
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent client management and relationship skills
Ability to develop and implement PR strategies and tactics
Experience drafting and editing press materials
Brainstorming, out-of-the-box thinking, and the ability to conjure story lines that are timely (Trendhunting is a must!)
Experience securing media placements and managing media relationships
Ability to work independently and remotely
Supervisory experience and mentorship skills
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism, or related field
5+ years of experience in public relations
Preferred
Experience working with B2B/B2C clients is a plus
