Responsibilities
Draft insightful coverage opinions shaping insurer positions on complex, high-exposure claims
Manage litigation from inception through appeals, including bad faith and declaratory judgment actions
Advise on subrogation opportunities and third-party recoveries nationwide
Handle multi-faceted disputes involving auto/truck, health, and contingency policies
Collaborate on risk mitigation and policy drafting for global clients and risk retention groups
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation
Strong understanding of insurance policies and coverage issues
Experience managing litigation from inception through appeals
Ability to draft coverage opinions and manage complex claims
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a remote and collaborative environment
Preferred
Experience with bad faith defenses and declaratory judgment actions
Familiarity with subrogation opportunities and third-party recoveries
Background in handling disputes involving auto/truck, health, and contingency policies
Experience advising global clients and risk retention groups
Recognition or honors in the field, such as Super Lawyers designations
