AVP, Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities
Define the technology product strategy and ensure alignment with enterprise business objectives and IM&T priorities
Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support scalability, modernization, and innovation
Lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers and developers, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Oversee the full application development lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Define and implement technology roadmaps that drive innovation, scalability, and competitive advantage
Partner with business product management, IT operations, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Establish coding standards, best practices, and QA processes to ensure reliability, security, and performance
Optimize resource allocation, manage budgets, and maintain vendor relationships to maximize efficiency
Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance
Promote innovation, professional development, and adoption of modern frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps
Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices
Develop and lead the product roadmap, prioritizing features that deliver maximum customer value and align with strategic goals
Coordinate release planning, manage end-to-end release processes, and enforce change management policies
Evaluate, select, and manage external partners to deliver critical features and services
Track and report on project portfolio performance, set team goals, and provide guidance for successful delivery
Drive a culture of excellence centered on customer needs, rigorous testing, and flawless execution
Present priorities and progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
10+ years' experience working with external service providers, software developers and engineers, with a strong ability to translate product requirements succinctly and ensure technology deliverables are built with high quality
Solid understanding UX/UI along with user-centered design and development, Strong Services API development background, with a solid understanding of how different technologies work together to enable a successful product launch
Firm understanding of Agile product development and Strong Jira management
Working knowledge of tools such as SQL, Jira, and Domo
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in an environment with evolving business demands
Experience with leading multiple projects and advising senior leadership is desirable
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
Demonstrates a commitment to AI fluency by embracing AI tools and technologies to enhance individual and team performance, decision-making, and innovation
Preferred
Experience with AI, Mobile, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and automation tools
Familiarity with IaaS, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Data Platforms, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and disaster recovery planning
