2026 MoMA Summer Internship - Exhibition Design and Production

The Museum of Modern Art is offering a Summer Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students interested in Exhibition Design and Production. Responsibilities

Contribute to working in Exhibition Production for galleries focused on Living Artists
Expand the use of Augmented Reality tools
Assist in production fabrication and installation
Explore and implement AR tools into the design process
Continue building upon exploration of parametric tools for 3D modeling and drafting techniques
Integrate current methods to continue building cross departmental collaborations
Focus on upcoming exhibitions and galleries for artists

Required

Minimum of two years of college completed (or equivalent) by June 2026
Background in Design and/or Architecture (majors in Interior Design, Industrial Design and Experimental/Experiential Design have previously interned in this department)
Proficient grasp of CAD drafting
Proficient grasp of Rhino 3D modeling
Proficient grasp of Fabrication Processes
Proficient grasp of AR Exploration/Programming
Portfolio of work demonstrating skillsets
One essay submitted in PDF format, no longer than 650 words
Résumé/curriculum vitae in PDF format
At least one letter of recommendation in PDF format
Transcript(s) of undergraduate and/or graduate records in PDF format
