Responsibilities

Develop and deliver category strategies across MRO, Capex and distribution

Lead sourcing activity for plant maintenance, spares, equipment and capital projects

Manage logistics, warehousing and distribution supplier relationships

Deliver end to end sourcing activity including RFx, negotiations and contract award

Analyse spend data to identify cost reduction and standardisation opportunities

Build cost models and total cost of ownership comparisons

Evaluate supplier proposals and support award recommendations

Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, service levels and frameworks

Manage supplier performance, KPIs and contract compliance

Support Capex investment projects from business case through execution

Track savings, value delivery and sourcing outcomes

Partner with stakeholders to align procurement priorities with operational demand

Support procurement governance and policy compliance

Drive continuous improvement across suppliers, processes and supply models

Required

Proven experience within MRO, Capex or industrial procurement environments

Strong background in strategic sourcing and category management

Experience managing high value, operationally critical spend

Confident negotiating complex commercial and framework agreements

Strong analytical capability including Excel and spend analysis

Comfortable engaging senior operational stakeholders

Commercially astute and solutions focused

Able to balance governance with business continuity

Adaptable and effective within evolving environments

Preferred

Exposure to engineering, manufacturing or asset intensive organisations
