Responsibilities
Direct oversight of summer camp activities including supervision of Camp Director and their staff
Responsible for preparation of camp paperwork and supplies
Responsible for taking photographs and uploading appropriate pictures onto shared drives and third-party platforms
Responsible for other administrative duties related to camps as required
Utilizes effective communication (written and verbal) when interacting with campers, parents/guardians of our campers, staff, and contracted director/staff to disseminate relevant information and resolve conflicts
Performs minor first aid as needed; completes necessary reports; constantly scans participation areas for safety
Completes relevant portions of the Post Program Analysis Form after each camp
Directly supervise staff, volunteers and contracted labor ensuring that duties are carried out by accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license
Driving record, drug test and background check required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in education, recreation, or related field preferred
Three years of experience leading and supervising children in a camp setting preferred
First Aid and CPR preferred
