Responsibilities

Perform production flow profiling and optimization using advanced diagnostic tools such as Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS), Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), and Production Logging Tools (PLT)
Conduct quality checks on third-party datasets—such as surface production data, pressure readings, and completion information—and integrate them into distributed fiber optic workflows
Process large volumes of raw DAS data using proprietary Python scripts to extract frequency-band data and generate combined visualization files
Calibrate DTS data to account for signal attenuation and align both DAS and DTS datasets with known wellbore depths
Analyze these datasets to identify producing clusters, evaluate cluster efficiency, and assess overall wellbore performance
Interpret DAS frequency responses to understand acoustic intensity, fluid phases, and flow velocities, while leveraging DTS data to estimate stimulation fluid distribution using volumetric methods such as Nowak’s approach
Combine flowing pressure profiles with rock and fluid properties to support reservoir modeling and flow allocation
Utilize tools like PLATO to quantify cluster-level flow rates for injection and production profiling
Evaluate the performance of different completion designs, identify wellbore anomalies, and recommend optimization strategies for enhanced production
Study pressure transient responses and fiber optic data during well interference testing to understand well interactions and optimize well spacing
Leverage Python libraries such as Matplotlib, Pandas, and Bokeh, along with proprietary algorithms, to generate DAS and DTS visualizations
Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and deliver actionable insights to clients, supporting data-driven decisions for well performance analysis and completion optimization
Continuously improve analysis workflows and deliverables to provide clear, user-friendly results
