Responsibilities
Lead underwriting and credit analysis for CRE debt transactions
Actively coordinate the full investment process, including underwriting, due diligence, risk assessment, cash flow modeling, and closing (note - this role is a core underwriter, not tied to originations or asset management)
Evaluate sponsor strength, asset quality, market fundamentals, and financial risk
Develop and review financial models, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and downside scenarios
Work cross-functionally with affiliated real estate and credit teams within the broader organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5 – 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting or credit analysis
Strong background in CRE lending; experience with construction or transitional assets strongly preferred
