Material Program Manager
Raytheon is a leading company dedicated to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. They are seeking a Principal Specialist, Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the Naval Missiles (NAM) SSBU, responsible for coordinating and executing supply chain activities and ensuring supplier performance.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support & management for all proposal activities and ensure compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable, including but not limited to creating, managing, and executing Material Program Strategy (MPS) and the Material Program Plan (MPP)
Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and bases of estimates, coordinating development of material cost, and MCB (Material Contract Brief) processes
Proposal development and familiarity with government contracting processes (e.g., FAR/DFARS)
Partner with our internal acquisitions team to manage supplier & subcontractor performance in meeting program needs
Be a member of the program office that participates in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
Flow down Program Requirements and Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans
Work with MPM leadership and Digital Technology services to create proposal status dashboards
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant buyer and/or estimating experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant buyer and/or estimating experience
Experience writing supply chain proposals
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Preferred
Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry
Active and transferrable U.S. government issued security clearance
Experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project)
Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent
Experience implementing continuous improvement, Six Sigma or Lean methodologies/principals
