Responsibilities
Lead production and reviews of complex partnership tax returns
Provide tax consulting services, focusing on accuracy, quality, and client service
Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704b accounts
Attract, mentor, train, coach, and assess performance of staff
Oversee multiple client service teams, plan, execute, and complete tax projects across industries
Offer innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise
Market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies within budget
Develop and maintain new business and client relationships
Research and consult on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation using tax-related software
Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
Maintain active client communication to manage expectations and meet deadlines
Lead business development, including proposals and pursuits
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting in public accounting or combined industry/public accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA required
Must be from a top 10 accounting firm
Travel as needed
Minimal job hopping preferred
Preferred
Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and mergers & acquisitions
