Responsibilities
Responsible for daily coordination and supervision of assigned members
Assigns and coordinates project priorities, workload planning, staffing schedules and assignments
Coordinates and monitors direct/indirect labor utilization among section staff members
Ensures that resource loading calendars are completed on a timely basis for the section
Responsible for quality control of work produced by the section
Oversees that staff execute to standards, procedures and policies established by the organization
Provides input to Department Manager on hiring, salaries, promotion, transfer, demotion and termination of section members
Assists with staff development within the section
Recommends to Department Manager opportunities for section members to participate in training and career development activities
Supports the Department Manager in monitoring the financial key performance indicators for the section including utilization and project performance
Work with project managers and senior section members to support business development and marketing activities
Ensures that project assignments for the section are completed on schedule and within budget parameters
Contributes to project work involving the design of substation steel structures and foundations for substations and transmission lines
Determines client requirements and develop reports, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents
Performs other functions delegated by the Department Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in discipline
PE required
