Responsibilities
Litigate complex commercial disputes including shareholder/partnership battles, contract breaches, and business torts from inception through verdict
Draft motions, briefs, and strategies for summary judgments and appeals in high-value matters
Conduct discovery, depositions, and hearings involving fiduciary duties, fraud, and unfair competition claims
Collaborate on multidisciplinary solutions blending litigation with corporate, real estate, and municipal expertise
Prepare for trials and alternative resolutions in precedent-setting cases across industries
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in New York
2+ years of experience in commercial litigation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases
Preferred
Experience with high-stakes commercial cases
Familiarity with appellate court procedures
Background in corporate law or real estate law
Experience in drafting motions and briefs for summary judgments
Knowledge of fiduciary duties and business torts
