Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and close new advertising clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract close
Maintain and grow relationships with existing advertisers
Understand advertiser goals and recommend appropriate ad placements and packages
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in CRM
Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to ensure ad specifications and deadlines are met
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years inside sales experience
A proven track record of sales success
Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills
Preferred
Prior experience in marketing or advertising is highly desirable
Experience with print media advertising is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
