Responsibilities

Lead and secure new work by actively participating in pursuits, preconstruction, estimates, proposals, and client presentations
Build and leverage personal market relationships to establish a consistent pipeline of $50M+ commercial construction projects
Provide executive oversight for multiple projects or a single highly complex project
Own portfolio performance across safety, quality, schedule, budget, profitability, and client satisfaction
Establish and reinforce a strong safety and quality culture across all projects
Oversee design coordination, constructability, scope alignment, and risk mitigation
Monitor subcontractor performance, submittals, pay applications, and commissioning activities
Mentor, develop, and ultimately build the Phoenix commercial buildings team
Represent the organization as a trusted advisor to owners, developers, designers, and industry partners

Required

15+ years of progressive construction experience with increasing leadership responsibility
2–5+ years operating at the Construction Manager, Project Executive, or Senior Project Director level, with accountability beyond a single project
Demonstrated success leading commercial building projects in the $50M–$100M+ range
Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects or a large portfolio of work
Proven leadership across multiple delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build, GMP, Hard Bid)
Direct ownership of business development efforts, including winning work through personal client and market relationships
Established relationships in the Arizona market (Phoenix and broader AZ)
Experience contributing at the district or regional leadership level, influencing backlog growth, staffing, or market strategy
Strong executive presence and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
12–24 months of estimating or preconstruction exposure, such as bid reviews, pricing strategy, and pursuit planning
Experience helping to open, scale, or stabilize a new office or regional operation
Exposure to adjacent sectors such as industrial, data centers, or infrastructure
Experience expanding a geographic market (Phoenix to statewide Arizona or the broader Southwest)
