Executive Director, Clinical Institute

Responsibilities

Spearhead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide strategic plans, emphasizing quality, growth, financial sustainability, and research
Facilitate large-scale strategic initiatives across divisions, driving seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals
Engage with physicians and administrative leaders to enhance capital planning, vendor relations, digital solutions, and key performance indicators
Oversee institute executive KPIs and assure tactical workflows across multiple divisions, ensuring alignment with system strategies
Conduct market and environmental assessments to support growth targets and financial performance
Support strategic partnerships with Clinical Institutes and Health Research Accelerator to drive research and revenue generation
Serve as the voice of the system clinical institute on national, system, and divisional leadership councils
Assess programs and services against performance metrics, identifying gaps and collaborating to enhance outcomes
Participate in developing advanced reimbursement models, focusing on growth and patient experience
Provide direction and support to align Clinical Groups with institute goals across the enterprise

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Over 10 years of experience in healthcare leadership, with a history of managing clinical programs
Proven ability to foster successful relationships with clinicians and physicians
Experience in financial and clinical detail analysis to identify focus areas for improvement
Strong history of working effectively within matrixed organizations and with various management teams
Excellent skills in communicating complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing and organizing work effectively

Preferred

Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred
