Project Management Intern

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to support the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), a critical initiative that delivers medical readiness services to U.S. military Reserve and National Guard members. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting large-scale, mission-driven healthcare operations within a federal contracting environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day program coordination and administrative support
Track project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items
Support preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations
Participate in internal meetings and capture notes, decisions, and follow-up actions
Help maintain project trackers, dashboards, and shared documentation
Support data analysis related to program performance, timelines, and deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, clinical staff, and IT
Adhere to program policies, compliance requirements, and data security standards

Required

Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Operations Management or related field
Typically maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better
Availability to work during the internship timeframe (June 1 to August 7, 2026)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Preferred

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing technologies and priorities
Demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement
Prior relevant experience or classroom training preferred
Familiarity with project management concepts or tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
Interest in healthcare operations, government programs, or military health services
Prior internship, coursework, or experience in project coordination or administration
Experience working with data, reports, or process documentation
