Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements and analyze budget variances & operational trends
Present financial results to facility leaders and executive leadership
Perform monthly close activities: expense accruals, adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations
Collaborate with administrators and department heads regarding financial performance
Assist with annual budget development
Prepare audit workpapers and schedules for external auditors
Contribute to special projects that drive financial efficiency and business success
Generates financial statements
Explains variances to budget and trend
Presents operating results to facility leadership and executive team
Assists with monthly financial close for several companies including: expense accruals/adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, trend and financial analysis, actual production of internal financial statements for operators, external financial statements for lenders
Works with facility personnel including administrators and department heads concerning monthly financial reports and budget comparisons
Assists in the preparation of annual budgets, audit work papers and schedules for external auditors
Assists with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of experience
Demonstrated proficiency with computer usage and applications such as Microsoft Office and Great Plains accounting system
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
