Responsibilities

Collaborate with designers and product partners to deliver engaging, accessible, and performant web experiences
Implement and maintain complex web applications that support Riot’s Esports ecosystem
Work across Riot’s Esports web properties and partner platforms to bring new experiences to life
Contribute to technical discussions, help shape web architecture decisions, and advocate for best practices in front-end development
Stay current with modern web technologies and apply them thoughtfully to Riot’s products

Qualification

Required

2+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS-in-JS patterns
Hands-on experience with a modern web framework such as Next.js, Astro, or SvelteKit
Understanding of modern web architecture, including client–server interactions and performance optimization
Strong attention to visual and interaction details in layout and animations
Familiarity with deploying and operating web applications using PaaS providers (e.g., Vercel, Netlify)

Preferred

Interest or experience in serverless or edge environments
Familiarity with GraphQL
Understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
