Responsibilities
Cross-Team Technical Governance
The "Unblocker": You will roam across projects, helping Tech Leads solve their most difficult challenges—whether it's a memory leak in a React Native bridge or a race condition in a NestJS microservice
The Standard Bearer: You will kill "tribal knowledge." You will identify the best patterns emerging from individual teams and codify them into company-wide engineering standards
Hardware Strategy: You will define how we simulate and test physical devices. You will ensure that our BLE integration patterns are robust, testable, and consistent across clients
Hands-On Architecture & DevOps
Own the Machine: You will take ownership of our CI/CD and DevOps strategy. You will ensure that "deploying to production" is a boring, automated event
Code with Purpose: You won't have a daily ticket backlog, but you will code. You will build the Proofs of Concept (POCs), the complex libraries, and the testing harnesses that make the rest of the team faster. We do not hire "Architecture Astronauts"—if you can't implement your own design, you shouldn't be designing it
Pragmatic Rigor: You will enforce a culture of "Scientific Thinking." We don't guess; we measure. You will teach the team how to validate hypotheses before writing code
Client Focus & Strategic Technical Support
Drive Client Success: Measure the success of your architecture by the success of the client. You will ensure that we aren't just shipping code, but delivering the •right• solution for their environment and goals
Pre-Sales Feasibility: You will support the CTO in evaluating new client opportunities. You will look at a prospect's messy legacy code or unstable hardware spec and give us the unvarnished truth about the technical risk
Qualification
Required
Deep, full-stack experience across React Native (Mobile), ReactJS (Web), and NestJS (Cloud)
Mastery of TypeScript
Comfortable diving into the native iOS/Android layer when the bridge breaks
Experience with Fastlane, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
Ability to build systems, not just features
Understanding of the trade-offs between 'Dry' code and 'Decoupled' code
Ability to treat infrastructure as code
High agency in identifying and fixing broken processes
