Vice President of Engineering
Logicbroker is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead their engineering organization as they scale their AI-powered commerce platform globally. This role involves driving product delivery, platform scalability, and engineering excellence across a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
Define and execute the long-term engineering strategy aligned with Logicbroker’s vision for Agentic Commerce and its Intelligent Commerce Network
Lead architecture evolution across APIs, data pipelines, integrations, infrastructure, and AI-enabled orchestration engines
Build and scale a world-class engineering organization across backend, frontend, platform, integrations, QA, DevOps, and security
Partner closely with Product, Data, and Revenue to deliver a high-quality roadmap that accelerates customer value and business growth
Drive engineering excellence through best-in-class development processes, Agile methodologies, and clear execution metrics
Own platform performance, reliability, availability, and security across mission-critical systems used by enterprise customers
Lead adoption and integration of AI—agentic workflows, large language models, automation systems—to expand Logicbroker’s competitive edge
Champion an experimentation mindset and introduce modern architectural patterns, tooling, and automation for efficiency and speed
Establish scalable systems, processes, and SLAs across CI/CD, testing, observability, infrastructure, and incident management
Oversee cloud architecture (preferably Azure/AWS) with a focus on high availability, cost efficiency, and global scale
Partner with Security and Compliance to support SOC 2, privacy requirements, and best practices for secure software development
Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering leaders and ICs to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Develop career pathways, performance frameworks, and a strong sense of ownership across teams
Advocate for engineering needs while building strong, trusted cross-functional relationships
Qualification
Required
10–15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading high-performing engineering teams in a SaaS environment
Deep experience with enterprise-scale SaaS, high-volume data processing, API platforms, or eCommerce/supply chain integrations
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS), distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and modern DevOps
Proven ability to scale engineering orgs through rapid growth stages—from strong teams to strong systems
Exceptional ability to drive clarity, prioritization, and execution across complex cross-functional initiatives
Data-driven mindset with strong command of engineering metrics, quality frameworks, and operational best practices
Demonstrated success partnering with Product to deliver customer-centric, high-quality roadmap outcomes
Clear, concise communicator who can translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
High degree of ownership, bias for action, and comfort leading in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments
Collaborative, low-ego leadership style that fosters trust and elevates the team
Preferred
Experience incorporating AI/ML into product and engineering workflows is a significant plus
Experience with global engineering teams or hybrid/remote operating models a plus
