SYSTEMS SPECIALIST I
Talking Stick Resort is seeking a Systems Specialist I to provide first-tier technical support for various applications and hardware in the casino environment. The role includes maintaining asset inventory, assisting with IT projects, and troubleshooting telecommunications and network issues.

Responsibilities
Performs all responsibilities of the Systems Specialist I as necessary
Performs basic support for telephone, audio-video and other electronic systems as required
Documents all work completed in the IT Help Desk system or appropriate system logs
Follows up on all outstanding IT requests in a timely manner
Handles user problems in a timely and effective manner and escalates problems as needed using the department’s escalation procedures
Keeps abreast of all department communications (i.e. email, system logs, IT request system, voice mail, and wireless telephones) regularly and efficiently in order to perform one’s duties
Responsible for the repair and maintenance and general operations of all company-owned or leased computers and related equipment
Responsible for installing and troubleshooting new hardware and peripherals utilized by the organization
Works with and escorts vendors to support systems and ensures proper installation and maintenance of systems as requested
Provisions and De-provisions all accounts for end users
Assists in controlling hardware and software inventory and accounting for inventory used
Trains end users on the proper use of computer equipment and basic network operations
QA’s procedures and documents for IT Department
Adheres to all documented Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Ensures the privacy and confidentiality of all personnel matters pertaining to the performance of any computer work and/or special projects
Attends all meetings and trainings as required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required for all Systems Specialists
CompTIA A+ certification required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, macOS, Android, and iOS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud application
Working knowledge of Active Directory and enterprise applications
Experience supporting printers, copiers, phones, desktops, laptops, tablets, and other peripheral devices
Strong technical skills required
Strong to excellent time management and organizational skills required
Must possess strong customer service and communication skills and the ability to creatively seek out and implement innovative solutions
Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
All Systems Specialists must be able to work weekends and evenings
Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Preferred
1+ year related technical support experience in a professional IT environment preferred
CompTIA Network+ certification preferred
