Responsibilities
Strong expertise in Law, with a focus on Real Estate, Commercial, or Corporate Law
Assist in all phases of real estate and business litigation, including legal research, motions and pleadings practice, and discovery
Facilitate and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
Independently develop case strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations
Manage litigation matters from initial intake through resolution
Maintain and develop strong client relationships
Draft and analyze contracts, loan documents, and leases
Perform due diligence for risks, liabilities, and legal issues related to business transactions by examining records and properties
Representing clients in discussions to secure favorable terms and conditions
Assisting with client understanding of legal structures and entity formation
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active membership in the State Bar of Georgia in good standing
Strong writing, research and analytical skills with a proactive approach to case strategy
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong commitment to client service and a passion for helping clients
Preferred
One to three (1-3) years of litigation or real estate/business experience preferred
