Salt Lake Community College is Utah’s largest open-access college, and they are seeking a Mail and Logistics Support Specialist. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages across assigned campuses, supporting various operational functions including package receiving and fleet-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, and process incoming USPS mail, packages, and internal campus mail
Utilize package tracking software to log and monitor deliveries and pickups
Enter daily work tasks into the facilities' Work Order Management system
Act as the local surplus agent: pick up surplus items from departments and coordinate with the main warehouse for disposal or further instructions
Collect campus lost and found items and deliver them to designated locations
Assist with recycling duties, including emptying containers for paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum cans, and used toner cartridges
Support fleet and facilities operations as needed, including completing assigned work orders
Maintain a dependable and punctual work schedule, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy to coworkers, students, and staff
Work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Assist other College Facilities Teams as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Utah driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move packages and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry systems
Personal time management
