Responsibilities
Follow work guidelines and adhere to all company policies
Work responsibly in a safe manner following all safe operating procedures and posting requirements
Wear required personal protective equipment assigned by supervisor and follow lock-out tag-out requirements
Complete assigned tasks as instructed by the supervisor
Position requires the ability to receive forklift certification and maintain no damage to equipment or property along with proper documentation of the forklift, attachments, forks, and carpet pole while documenting findings at the beginning of each shift
Verify that the material being pulled from the source rows and trailers is correct
Ensure the raw material and scrap on the line matches the job sheet by checking tags and numbers
Responsible for weighing additives at the beginning of each shift
Verify and documenting scale accuracy
Weigh finished product boxes while verifying the correct label is on the box and in good condition
Transport finished product boxes to the warehouse in the proper location
Check source rows for remaining scrap at the completion of each job
Label and log exiting out and quarantined boxes
Qualification
Required
High School diploma, or GED required
Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
