Interns will assist with modern design projects and exhibition-related tasks, while participating in professional development activities.

Responsibilities

The intern will work on modern design projects
Intern will assist curators with exhibition-related tasks, including helping with exhibition checklists, TMS object records and exhibition documentation, and logistics related to exhibition planning
Projects may include creating engaging content that resonates with the target audience; enhancing the brand’s product storytelling; conceptualizing and executing innovative design concepts for seasonal campaigns; and developing a range of design assets (including store graphics, marketing collateral, and digital content) that align with the company’s vision and objectives
The intern will also assist curators in assembling a working checklist for the upcoming modern design exhibition; help develop an organized documentation system for exhibition documentation that enables easy collaboration and information sharing
Projects will focus on an exhibition on 1980s and 1990s design, scheduled to be on view in Spring/Summer 2027

Qualification

Art HistoryHistory of Modern DesignTMSWriting skillsVerbal communicationOrganizational skills

Required

Minimum of two years of college completed (or equivalent) by June 2026
Academic background in Art History, Design, and/or History of Modern Design
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with TMS
