New Grad, Entry LevelLandmark Construction Company, Inc. is experiencing significant growth and is looking for a Hydro Vac Truck Assistant to join their team. The role involves the safe and efficient operation of a hydro excavation truck, supporting various construction and environmental projects.
Construction
Responsibilities
Operate hydro-vacuum trucks to perform non-destructive excavation around utilities, pipes, and sensitive areas
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues
Safely drive equipment to and from job sites (may include long-distance travel)
Set up and inspect job sites for safety hazards and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards
Maintain accurate and timely paperwork including job tickets, vehicle logs, and safety documentation
Work alongside laborers and supervisors to complete daily job tasks efficiently
Monitor fluid and debris levels, ensure proper disposal of materials according to local regulations
Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the truck and equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs
Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Previous experience operating hydro-vac or vacuum trucks preferred
Knowledge of utility locating and underground infrastructure is a plus
