Responsibilities
Support senior trial attorneys by managing litigation calendars, deadlines, and trial preparation
Format, proofread, file, and prepare legal pleadings, including discovery, subpoenas, expert designations, declarations, and trial documents
Manage and coordinate attorney travel, meetings, and trial logistics
Oversee and guide administrative staff to ensure compliance with deadlines and firm procedures
Retain and coordinate expert witnesses and trial support vendors
Ensure familiarity and compliance with California Code of Civil Procedure filing deadlines and Federal Court rules
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting senior trial attorneys
Ability to manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and trial preparation
Skills in formatting, proofreading, filing, and preparing legal pleadings, including discovery, subpoenas, expert designations, declarations, and trial documents
Experience managing and coordinating attorney travel, meetings, and trial logistics
Ability to oversee and guide administrative staff to ensure compliance with deadlines and firm procedures
Experience retaining and coordinating expert witnesses and trial support vendors
Familiarity and compliance with California Code of Civil Procedure filing deadlines and Federal Court rules
Preferred
5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in personal injury litigation
Strong knowledge of litigation processes, trial preparation, and California filing deadlines
Excellent grammar, transcriptions, and legal writing skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities
